2009-2010 At a Glance

CU was chosen as an Ashoka Changemaker Campus in the fall of 2009.

We began our student initiative with a strategic planning session that included SEED faculty and a selected group of CU students.

In Februrary, we shared our work with other student innovators from across the nation at the AshokaU Summit in Washington, DC.

Throughout the year, we focused on the following initiatives:
Student venture incubator (sports for development, backyard farming, community gardening, affordable ESL, Rwandan cookstoves, etc.)
Developing tools for campus social entrepreneurs
Creation of a residential academic program (RAP)
